About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker providing individual therapy for adults, as well as training and supervision, in Richmond Virginia. I received a MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013 and a MA in Psychology from the New School for Social Research in 2007. Prior to starting my own practice I provided psychotherapy to university students for 9 years at VCU’s counseling center. At the counseling center I provided individual supervision to MSW interns and also provided training in multicultural competence, gender and sexual identity, and trauma treatment to students in social work and psychology. I have experience in many different behavioral health and social services environments, including day treatment for kids, an art therapy program, and a residential program for LGBTQ young adults.

I have worked extensively with clients who are LGBTQ and asexual, and clients who are navigating gender questioning and transition. I am polyamory and kink affirming. I am a signer of the Healthy At Every Size pledge and believe every body is a good body. I often work with autistic clients and clients with ADHD and take a neurodiversity-affirming approach. I also have a lot of clinical experience working with clients with immigrant backgrounds and/or living with the impact of immigration systems.
