If you have Medicaid with Anthem Healthkeepers Plus -  I am in network. That means that your services would be free to you, because they are fully covered by Medicaid. I am NOT currently in network for other Medicaid plans.

For all other clients - fees are $150 for a regular session and $170 for the intake session.

If you have out-of-network benefits then I can provide paperwork to help you get reimbursed for a percentage of the fee, according to your specific policy. The best way to find out whether you have this benefit is to call the number on your card and ask whether you have out-of-network benefits for outpatient therapy visits. You may also want to ask if you need to meet your deductible first, or if there are other criteria.

 

About financial accessibility: My goal for my therapy practice is to maximize the accessibility of services to the most low income clients in a way that is sustainable for me, so that I can keep doing it without burning out. I have found that I can help the most people if I split my practice between clients who receive Medicaid benefits and clients who pay a full fee. That means that I am not able to provide sliding scale services and I don't take commercial insurance. Working within our inequitable health system requires frustrating compromises. I am always open to learning about alternative fee structures so please share if you know of other models!
